I am currently trying to track down a possible vacuum leak in my 86 gn. I replaced all of the lines except for the large pcv line, and one of the lines that connects the egr valve to the egr regulator( i think that is what its called). I am planning to order a new pcv line and i just wanted to know if i needed to replace the pcv valve and pcv grommet while i was replacing the line, or can i just replace the line? I also found several websites that i can buy the one and two way check valves from for fairly cheap, but i couldnt find anywhere that sold the connectors for the vacuum lines that connect to the fuel pressure regulator, and there is also one that comes off of the second vacuum line off of the block that connects to the map sensor. They are long black rubber pieces. If anyone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, i know you can check vacuum leakes with propane and carb cleaner, but i dont have propane and carb cleaner can be dangerous, does anyone know any other ways to check for leaks in the lines? maybe with water? Thanks alot
