Watching it now. I was kinda hopping for a little more tech like turbo size or converter stall.

Nice looking car.

Not very impressed.

The owner was painfully clueless.
He's young and new to Turbo Buicks so you have to give him a break. If he knew it all they wouldn't have showed up there in the first place. At one point I guess I could say that I was clueless but I started reading a lot and learned. Him and his Dad both seem fairly passionate about the car and I'm sure will continue to learn about it. Now that he has a running car he can enjoy it and take on smaller projects as he becomes more familiar with it.

I suppose, but I'm pretty sure he said that he owned it for about 8 years or so.

Should be enough time to learn a few things.

The host said it had snow tires on the back and laighed..... They were veyy obviously drag radials.

The car was done up for sure... But did they get a chip burned lol

could have been alot worse.could have been alot better.
the car sounded good.the hosts seemed to genuinely like and respect the GN for what it is

Headliner put in and didn't bother with the dome light! Notice how they originally show the car didn't have a turbo when they first looked at it? Then they show them "start" to work on it and the turbo is already installed. Could have used a new hood liner! "the GN didn't start to get popular until around 2000"!! Was good to at least see some exposure on our cars. Better than the David Spade segment on Leno's garage.

I watched the show. Can say the host was enthusiastic about the car. However, I seen an alky kit at some point then it was gone? I seen an ATR rear sway bar back there. Vigilante converter I believe and looks like they had it rebuilt and painted? Nice down pipe and front mount piping it looked likeDefinitely had been raced. Sounded like a bad tick when they had it running in the garage. I'm curious how they set all the sensors, I didn't see a scanmaster :D They broke away and came back to a decent running car, maybe they had someone come in and set the sensors or made a few phone calls? Either way, pretty cool to see some attention brought to a GN. They really didn't do much though.

Seems like all it needed was fresh gas and a new turbo!!:p

the car has a classic fast on it that I programmed about 10 years ago with the previous owner. I saw the car a few days after the shoot and the trans was completely blown to the point where i didn't think the guy would make it home. The show would never have aired if one of the board members (BRER RABBIT) didn't help them out.

At least he got some nice front brakes and shocks put in. Oh, and a new abs head liner

I liked the read disc conversion. Like mentioned above, it wouldve been good on some specs on the turbo etc

Best part of that episode, was towards the end when they showed the car raising up when they were power braking it.
