"Return With Honor"
U.S.M.C 1988 to 1992
0331 machine gunner. I was stationed in Marine Barracks Philippines & then went to the Persian Gulf in 1990-1991.
Thanks to all my fellow Vets that have served & are currently serving.

What years were to on the Briscoe? In 2000 we were going through pier side maintenance and we had to eat on the Briscoe. Have to say that ship was in pretty bad shape in comparison to the Vella Gulf which was pretty new at the time. Had to help the "A" gang on the Briscoe with the multiple scullery problems. Some really good people on that ship though.

I miss all the friends and atmosphere of the Navy but don't miss getting underway for a week here and a week there. However, going on Baltops in 1998 was one of the most memorable times in my life.
