Hi all,
I've been having trouble with my Vigilante locking up. I have the trans out of the car and want to make sure I follow Precision's instructions exactly when I re-install it. The big steps are: install the pump tube, remove the checkball at the end of the shaft (optional) and to "remove upper cooler line fitting and replace it with the fitting provided". It goes on to say that "This is done to retain pressure in the converter.". I'm pretty sure that when I first got the converter that there was no fitting in the box. As a result, when I get my converter back from Precision I'm pretty sure there will not be a fitting in the box.
Anyone know what this special fitting is? Do I need it?
Thanks,
Jim
