I can't see the video, but I doubt he actually hit 209 in the standing mile.

Verified by tire size and RPM

You can aford a $140K Viper but you can't afford a $100 GPS.

SVS tried to ACTUALLY hit 200 in the standing mile and hit a VERIFIED 200.3 in 2003 at Arnold (after running 197 in 2002)

A guarantee you their 2003 car was way better than anything they built in 2001.

When I play the video, I don't actually see anything other than the screen telling about the vid. No actual footage. However, if this is car is the one in the video, I can tell you right now it's strong. I've seen it first hand. He was at a Viper event in San Antonio in December 2003, and that car makes the power.

As matter of fact, he and John Hennessey were going to do a roll race from 50-170 or something like that, but Hennessey backed out.

I don't know if Paolo's car did hit 209 in that run, but it should be capable of doing it. That car is wicked.

Paulo's car only ran 191 in the standing mile at Arnold.

The SVS (who built Paulo's car) factory Twin Turbo car ran 200.3 on the same day.

Those guys would be the first to tell you that the car in the video didn't hit 209 in the standing mile. I'm sure it can hit 209, but not in a standing mile.

Here is the link to download the codec so you can view it......

After watching the video you'll see that he sure looks like he could have been going that fast and from what I was told the Viper is supercharged and making around 800-900rwhp (I guess it could be that guy Paolo's Viper) so I'd guess it has the power to go that fast.....

Okay I was told that the Viper in the video is supercharged by some guy name Heffner so I doubt it is Paolo's car......

SVS may have had something to do with Paolo's car initially, I don't know for sure. However, I do know that it is now tuned by Jason Heffner and has a blower on it.

Right, I'm not saying that it did hit 209 in that run, but I know that Paolo has done lots of high speed run/racing in the car, and with the power it's make it should be capable of that speed.

Paulo's car is supercharged. He showed up in Arnold with the Mishak's from SVS so I assumed they were together.

It's definitely not the SVS TT car in video, because you'd hear the blow off valve on every shift.

I watched the video and it is Paolo's car.

So after watching the video do you think that it's possible that he was going 209mph (or over 200mph)?? Sure looks like he was haulin' the mail pretty damn fast to me!

Sure he could go over 200 mph. The SVS Viper went 246 at bonneville (in 5 miles) and it was only 8 mph faster than Paulo in the standing mile.

I only questioned the "209 in the standing mile" claim, because he only went 191.8 in an actual, measured standing mile with hundreds of people watching.

Maybe he'll run 209 in 2004, who knows.

I've seen his car run the 1/4 in San Antonio, and he was having issues that day. I have no doubt that it can run well over 200mph, but I can't say for sure about the standing mile thing. I've no frame of reference except for 1/4 times of other high horsepower Vipers. In San Antonio, SVS was the fastest car there when they put the automatic in the car.

I'd like to watch some of that standing mile stuff, though. It's gotta be cool. :D
