!! VMAX vs FJR1300 !!! OPINIONS PLEASE

I just went with a buddy (kscopgn) posts here and rode a new vmax and fjr1300. Do any of you guys own each of these bikes? If so what do you like/dislike.

I personally LOVED BOTH bikes. The FJR1300 and the MAX have very comparable power, the Max is Brutal and the FJR is VERY SMooth solid performance.

Both 145 hp.
My wife will be riding also, so we may have to go with the FJR, just wanted opinions

FJR1300 kicks the VMAX,,,,,
maybe its a 1300 in the garage tomarrow, but i LOVE NOSTALGIA,,,,so maybe the max,,,,,,,time will tell.

But,,,

from a standstill, I believe it takes alot more experience to launch a sports bike than a VMAX. Heck, my bike outran several other bikes that were faster, on paper, and mine went *slower* than those times(11.3 @ 117). Once I get a few bugs worked out, 10's shouldn't be too hard(as long as the drive shaft holds out ). Although I love the looks of that R1(black and silver of course).
