Volt light not working

After a gauge change and some rewiring my volt light is not on when the switch is at ON position.
Interesting though is that I found 2 wires coming from the dash backside, not connected.
If I supply voltage, the volt light turns on.

My question is, can I supply switched power 12v to this wires without melting the alternator?

Will the casper field fix solve this?

Is the volt wire circuit uses 12 power?

Any idea on how i can make a casper fix diy?

Caspers "field fix kit" will supply the power to the circuit, should you lose power to your volt light in the dash. The field fix kit picks up the power from the wastegate solenoid connector.
I have one on my car for a safety net, should something flaky happen in my dash.
You could probake your own, if you had the right pigtail connectos.

Yeah, lots of things can happen with a 26 year old car, Loose socket, wire issues, oxidized circuit board.

I will check continuity to the alternator connector.

Which wire should I check on the alternator?
The one with the nut or at the connector?

Can I use the casper fix without the wastegate harness?

So if i wire the dash lamp between the alternator nut terminal and the alternator bronw wire it will charge?

This car became with the casper tps volt booster. I cant find the stock alt connector.
The only brown wire at a connector has a 4 wire harness with only a brown cable near that area.

A pic of that area will help!!

The stock wiring is a mess. No trace tk the engine bay, no plug, no resistor in the dash....

Will the casper fix solve my no charge situation?
Dont care about the volt light. I will add a voltmeter(or an ammeter, whatever tells me my alt is charging) instead
