How do you identify a WALBRO fuel pump? The only thing on the pump is a number 270 5421306.

should have a large walbro stampe insignia on it and the following numbers
GSS 340 and mine is a M
18303-1 MADE IN THE USA
PAT# 4500270...5421306

did someone scratch your numbers off?

Every Walbro I've come across has grind marks on it. Like filling the serial number off a stolen gun

because you are buying them from someone who doesnt want you to know what it really is-
more than likely NOT a 340 or else the numbers will be there, right?-

i have purchased over 30 pumps in the last 5 years, i finally know where to get them with the correct numbers and no feeling like im getting screwed.

everyone i get from mike has the numbers on them, no scratching off the numbers like some venders do
