want to change to Methanol, need info

Been running Denatured with Razors kit for two years. Have a TT ALky chip and my O2s have been around 820 WOT, blm around 126.

I just found a local supply that sells Methanol by the gallon

1. I have syphoned out the denatured and have about 1/2 pint of denatured left in my resevoir. I would rather not disconnect the supply line if I dont have to. If I add the Methanol to the resevoir with the 1/2 pint of Denatured, will there be any problem ? Or, should I keep hitting the test button to until its purged first.

2. I assume that running Methanol is better than Denatured as far as maintenace of the system, i.e. leaving it in the resevior over the winter, or better for the pump, etc.

From what I've read, I think it'll be fine to just let the denatured in there and top it off with the methanol. If I'm wrong someone will correct me...

Just got off the phone with Julio, I should have done that to before I posted, LOL. You are right, he said to let it drain down to almost empty and top off with the Methanol. I will post the location of here in New York who is selling it.

I've been running straight race methanol since the day I installed the kit.

It works fantastic.
