I believe the 84-85 is the same as the 86. the 87 is the only one that is different. The 84,85, and 86 have the same part number. So, wich one are you looking for?

Im pretty sure that the 84 85 and 86 are all the same...

Yes the 84-86 GNs all use the same grille. It is also the same grille used on the 1984 T-Type. The 85-86 T-Type uses a different grille.

Correct. The emblem was seperate. The 84 T-Type had no emblem on the grille. The 84 NA Regal said Regal and the 85-86 T-Type said T Type.

I'm going to make you guys experts on these Regals if it's the last thing I do.:biggrin: :tongue:

It's very easy to tell what year is what Regal if you know all of the details and what to look for.

To stand corrected by those more knowedgable than myself (Thanks guys) I am now looking for the NOS 84-86 gn grille with all the same size vertical bars, with no wider bars and the chrome strip on top that says buick part number 25515915 Thanks....PM me with best price and description on condition

I have not looked at the part# on the grille itself, but is this a case when GM decided to change the part# later on even though the part is exactly the same? It looks the same as the ones in the pics above (well, except that 87 :biggrin: )

I checked the part# on my grille and it's 25515915 like everyone elses. Don't know why the box says 25526744? Anyway, I will sell my NOS 86 GN grille for $380 shipped. The box is toast though.
