It wont close all the way most of the time. Im sure that relates to my slow spool up.

Take the downpipe loose from the turbo. Swing the arm that the actuator mounts onto back and forth to it's limits, until it moves freely. DO NOT use any chemical on the arm, they will only cause it to seize again sooner. This may need to be done on occasion, I do mine a few times each year, in hopes to prevent an overboost issue.

I think its hiting the inside of the wastegate hole on the turbo. Maybe i need to enlarge the holes to get the dp to slide a litle towards ther front.

unbolt the downpipe from turbo. smear a coat of anti seize on the puck. tape or wire the puck arm back while reinstalling pipe. reinstall pipe. swing arm back and forth a few times hard enough for puck to hit w/g hole. wire or tape puck arm back again, remove pipe, check contact patern on turbo.

I have done that. It seems to be sitting to far back and probably catching on the inside lip. That why im thinking move the testpipe side up and pull the dp forward on the turbo. I dont have a hanger on the test pipe so i think thats why its pulling it down and back. Will fix my old hanger and see how that works.

check to see how much wobble the puck has on its arm. If it wobbles too much, and the hole is max ported, it can catch. If the hole is too big, or off center, it will catch.

You may need to upgrade to the RJC Mega-Puck if wobble is not the problem.

The anti-sieze / bluing / grease method for checking where the puck hits is a good idea... slotting holes is not.

I think its because its off center. Tonight i am gonna reposition it and fix the exhaust mount at the trans and see if it stays in place. Thanks everyone.

It was off center. So i took a drill bit and cleaned out the mounting holes, all that build up. Then cleaned the puck and took a file and just smoothed the edges. Then what i think was the solution, i disconnected the test pipe from the y pipe and put a jack under the flange of the test pipe. Then just raised it and moved it around til i found the sweet spot where it sat right and didnt catch. Because i didnt have a cat hanger i used the remnants of an old one and made a hanger to hold it in place. Glad i did, the dp was hitting the fuel line. Oops. Now it spools up very nicely. Just ask my poor tires.
