My recommendation, for your first test, is to connect a hose from the turbo wastegate connection directly to the side port, and leave the top port OPEN (unblocked). Then CAREFULLY drive the car, to make sure the gate is working and will control your boost. The add the extra hardware and go from there. External gates can stick open or closed sometimes when carbon or oth
er stuff build up on the stem of the valve.
