water line to v2 intake

guys i cant get this water line from the water pump to the small nipple in the front of the intake to go on . what is it for , does it have to be hooked up or how can i get it hooked up. As soon as it comes from the intake it go's to the water pump.

it uses the same hose that the 86/7 cars use.

you can get them from kirban or a similar one from the auto parts store (looks like an S)
