Water Temp Light Flickering

My dashboard's water temp warning light started flickering recently. It happened after I did some work under the dash (changed my brakes to hydroboost) and pulled some connections loose in the process (symptom was some weird Scanmaster readings).

I spent some time under the dash this weekend trying to chase down all the loose connections and I did find a few. I re-seated the connections and now my Scanmaster readings all look great, but I noticed after cruising around that the water temp idiot light will flicker sometimes.

The engine isn't overheating as far as I can tell. My water temp gage shows roughly 165* and the Scanmaster reads 162-164. Seems like I've got another loose connection but I can't figure out where it's coming from.

Any ideas are appreciated.

I assume that the sender for the water temp gauge is screwed in the top of the intake near the upper radiator hose where the older sender was. Check to see the old sender wire isn't grounding against the block.

Played with that over the weekend. I think that may have fixed it.

Thanks for the help!
