Is there any way to make something to automatically lock the converter when it gets to a certain speed? I had this feature in an extender chip... but I am running an old Eric TT chip at the moment ... and miss being able to tune where the converter locks..... :(

lock it at the line and forget about switching on during the run

That is what I currently do...... but read where some people say that I am loosing time because the engine drops so far during the shifts..... I dunno..... haven't been able to experiment with it......

but... yes... my switch is flipped...... she locks as soon as it goes into second..... and remains locked the rest of the way.....

so experiment by switching it later like when you pass the cone for the 1/8th marker and see what happens ,
try it at 70, 80 90 and 100 , if you find where you like it have eric burn it to the chip at whatever you want

ive tried at the 1/8 cone (approx 90) and mph pickup from 1/8 to 1/4 was more than locking at line but overall 1/8 et and MPH was slower (usually loose 3-4 mph not locking until the 1/8th) and overall ET was slower
