Well, I notched the rear end.....

Finally broke down and did it.

Just finished having Nick Micale's guy notch the rear end on the TR. (Did some skunkworks control arm work under there , too. )

Put new 10'' wheels (different offset) and brand new 295/55/15 MT DR's on her.... I'm thinkin' I could even get some 305's under there........

Niether, we notched (narrowed) the frame rails to accommodate a deeper offset wheel, 5 1/2 inches instead of 4 1/2 inches. This allows for a wider tire that is tucked under the car better on the same width wheel.

The 275's DID stick out further and had a tendancy to rub a little when I had back seat passengers, on semi large bumps and when I winched it down on the trailer. That's why I did it.

Well, that and the fact that it looks soooo much better.
