Well, She's Ready For Paint

thanks,guys. havent gotten the car back yet:redface: they have to finish the polishing and repaint one of the outside mirrors. IM READY. last week would have been perfect to get it back,the store was slow ( every july is ) should get it mon-wends. probably will be too busy to work on it im ready to see it all back together.but im not going to rush a good job.
on a side note,i was on the fence about what color to paint it- now im really glad i went with the oem color, lots of metal flake and some color changing action going on determined by the angle of view in the sunshine .was pleasenty suprised. will post some good detailed pics when the car is reassembled hopefully by friday (trying to attend a show sat).

made a mistake, got car back friday at 3pm,took fri(sat) nite till 12am,sat from 9-5 to get the outside done,have to put int back and detail engine compartment,then good pics to follow....

i agree, i noticed that the car had the t-type wheels before and during paint, what happened to them? gbodyparts.com has some powder coated t wheels that look killer!:biggrin: alsoim pretty sure the trans am/gta center caps fit the t wheels so you can make up a set of custom caps.

thanks guys. i thought the gn wheels would look better since its a "chrome" car. i still have the T wheels,they are almost perfect,my plans are to put them away and save them. Mr Race bought brand new center caps for the T wheels,they are stored away too.
there was some chrome T center caps on here for sale that i thought about too.
on a side note,a couple of younger guys at autozone (they were under the hood of a early 2000's cobra) was asking about the car,i couldnt help myself,i told them it was the only blue GN made

The GN wheels make it look so much better ! :biggrin: the spoiler adds to the finishing touch. Definite improvement over t wheels.

thanks, i like the gn wheels too.chrome is good, how easy they are to keep clean is an extra bonus:biggrin: . the spoiler is cool because most wont even notice it.
it was/is alot of work reassembling in that small amount of time,but i wanted to hear the turbo spin again

I think you get to get your orig wheels polished like Evans has on his white T.
It would look better than the GN wheels.
