I have a new BGC 24 row intercooler with a adjustable powdercoated black shroud with custom KM mounts for a stronger and highest allowable ground clearance-$800.- the stock location intercoolers will give you the best cooling to use with your ac-and save you the expense of a aluminum larger radiator and larger cooling fans.-i have $1100. invested in this Bowling Geen Custom intercooler but i went with a front mount instead.Matt-1-347-680-8642,partial trades considered.
IMHO, PTE Stock Location IC is the best SL IC on the market today.
It would not have any bad affects on the performance of your AC system. Slight modifications to it and or the turbo orientation are needed, if you plan on running it with a large turbo.
IE: Any turbo that uses a large H style compressor cover. PT70 and up.
I understand you asking the question..you will always get a different answer from a different person that doing a search..If we all did searches instead of posting it would be pretty boring..nothing else to post about..about everything on here has been asked before at one time or another..so for your answer..me..I like the FMIC..mine is a VS front mount..old I gues but works great..so much better than the stock one i had..I havent ever tried a SLIC but I would think the heak soak would still be there..I didnt want to have to cool mine off with water sprayer between runs..seems to be very consistent now round after round..
