What Cam To Run

Well got my Knock problems sorted out kinda it wasnt false knock as I now have a blown head gasket So I will be tearing into the engine this weekend and was considering upgrading the cam while the heads are out for rework any suggs on a decent street cam not looking for anything wild just a little more than stock

I like the 204/214 cam. I used a Postons 107T or whatever it was and wasn't that impressed. The 204/214 seems to be a popular cam for mild motors, and isn't that expensive from Summit. Edelbrock cam and lifters for $129.95. Search EDL-5487

I have the comp 214/214 I like it but it lopes a bit at idle. Kinda lets you know it's there

If your heads and intake are ported, a Comp cams 206-206 or 212-212 will work nice. The 212 is about as big as you can go on a 3.8L without a noticable lope. I'm running the 212 on my 4.1L but going with a 218 soon.
