What causes the transmission to start flare shifting??
I can see if the 2nd band is incorrectly set but is there other reasons, if so what are they?...maybe the pump, shaft clearances/play??
If the transmission starts flare shifting the 1-2 will that cause the 2-3 shift to start flaring????
Reason I'm asking....my transmission is flaring the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts and I'm going to pull it apart and make the necessary repairs and want to know what to EXACTLY look for to fix.
