walked passed it in the garage thinking,(damn I don't want to change a head gasket.

Finished assembly and primed the new motor:D
Now I got to pull the old one out:frown:

WOW Nice..I know its not the lighting. That's nice.
Fully functional AC too?:D

I'm gong to pull mine soon ru going to supply PICS..Maybe, pretty please.,

I watched mine(carressed her in my mind) OMG I'm Crazy. J/K Took a seat with a drink(it's on pads) wanted to start it...but the Mother inlaw is here....sleeping above(I should have, but Actually like her) DAMN Daughter's got some Pig issues thou.

Got to fix the rear leak...You guys ever use Transmission conditioner to rejuvenate the rubber at the rear seal. My car sits alot like some of yours probably do. Any Input would be appreciated. ::biggrin:

Got a little bit further along my huge list of things to do. Removed front bumper so I can install FMIC, but not before figuring out where to put the two fluid coolers that I have mounted there right now.

Took off crank pulley, billet replacement from RJC should be here in a few days. God bless a low mileage car, didn't have to beat the pulley with a mallet for 20 minutes.

The last few parts I need should all be coming in the mail this week, and then it's crunch time.

Well i spent the day bondo glassing the holes. got them done so now i can finish up the underside of the body with bed liner. Then it is off to the frame when the weather worms up.:)

looked at it taking up space in my garage with a coating of dust all over it, It deserves to be sold.

New Powermonster installed, Still dirty, needs a fuse, need to wait for the resalted roads to get spring washed!

This has been a loooooooog winter!

Installed my GN logo aluminum rear end cover today. Looks awsome!!

I put one of those on back in November when I changed the fluid (what fluid there was), found out the rear was getting so old I could rock the diff up and down, and decided it needed rebuilt. It took me what seem like an eternity to get it filled. But it does look good!

Strangely enough, the rear has stopped making noise these days(?). The poor old car is still going down the road so the diff is still on the 'to do' list.

Along with the turbo, headers, downpipe, intercooler, air conditioner, paint, interior....

I beat on mine on Saturday. Best of the day was a 12.10@111.57 with a somewhat lazy 60'. Still got work to do. Gotta box my spare LCAs and get a ATR bar, and probably airbags as well. Then I gotta do my linelock and new brass combo valve, as well as swap in my spare DS header. Need to do a new headliner as well, and whole host of other small things to get it where it needs to be.

Drove the 87 to work and listened to the Police's Greatest Hits through my new Boston Acoustic speakers. Man they are clear.

Made big progress today. Things are going unusually easy... I'm overdue for a really frustrating snag to pop up and ruin my fun. 20 year old nuts and bolts are coming out without much of a fight, haven't come across anything that I can't position a wrench on... good times.

Today... stock turbo came out, removed oil feed and drain lines, replacing with aftermarket. Was gunna throw the new turbo on but with all these things out of the engine there's easier access to so many things, hoses, 02 sensor, etc, and I think I might order a few more things to replace while I have easy access.

If things keep going this smoothly I'll be driving it next week.

Was in Pinks all out Saturday. I ran 11.6 with the car shutting down at end of track since the up pipe blew off. They picked 16 cars that ran 9.8 and were only .06 seconds apart. Left early and got home ahead of the hail. Put car in garage and put my lawn chair on top of the cabinet by the car. I heard a little voice say "don't put it up there on top of the other chair and fishing poles it will never stay." I did it anyway because I was in a hurry and lazy. Took two step away and it falls off and puts a dent in my drivers door. I very loudly called myself stupid several times.

Replaced lower radiator hose just as general maintenance. Upper hose is coming in a seperate shipment... thanks Rock Auto lol.

Mocked up my new intake and intercooler piping and it LOOKS like I can get away without an IAC angle boss or having to raise the plenum with a spacer. $100 that I don't have to spend and less work to do... fingers crossed.

This weekend should be great, 60 degrees and I think I can get 99% done with the rest of the stuff I need to do. Car might be running with new turbo and intercooler by mid next week.

well lets see here....

i ripped out the pass seat so i could install the brain box tomy new 5.1 surround sound stereo system. all is well except i don't think i'm ever gonna watch a movie in the house any more :) It's just a excuse to spend more time with the buick :)

I pushed it in and out of the garage, Flinstone style. And pretended like it had a motor in there as I sat in the driver seat making Buick noises with my mouth. Then my wife opens the door to the garage and catches me making sounds as if I was on the transbrake. She thinks I completely lost it, as she rolls her eyes and shakes her head from left to right. With this car out of commision it makes me realize just how small my pecker really is.......

Installed Cotton's front mount today:D
going to install the remote oil filter tomorrow:smile:

Got my external oil coolers out of the way so I can install my front mount. Removing the coolers wasn't as messy as I thought it would be, guess there isn't much fluid in the lines after sitting all winter.

Now it's just getting down to the annoying details, gotta run out in the middle of all this and get some hardware for make-shift brackets to put these coolers in different spots, gotta go buy a 160 degree stat since the one I've been waiting to install since last summer isn't the right size, etc etc.

Still somewhat on track for the deadline of driving my car sometime this week.

Not quite there yet but things are getting interesting! :)
