What do new valve bodies cost?

What are these going for nowadays? I wanted to know about the 85 and the 86-87 bodies specifically. How much new and how much used? Where can you get them from? I'm really not interested in getting one of the very few, if any, GM may have as I know they'll cost more than a tranny rebuild. Will an 87 valve body work in my 85 tranny? Any mods need to be done for it to work? Thanks.

we get 400 dollars for them with the seperator plate.rebuilt body and new plate.i dont think anyone has more than us on the shelf .we buy them from every salvager we can find .over 150 on the shelf.i think bruce (pts)has new ones.
