The sad part is..

Only 33% of the regestered voters voted in the last election, and Ahole Davis could not even carry 16.5 % of that!!!.
That is just plain embarrassing. What kills me is all these people sit on their ass and do nothing , then complain about the outcome. They were TOLD what was gonna happen if Ahole Davis got in and it ALL came true.. If you remember, when this last election took place, I was on here throwing a fit for the Ca. residents to get off their ass and vote. What really burns my balls is the fact that the people that put him in office are the people whining the loudest now. They had a chance to solve this last election , but didn't. only thing that saved Ahole Davis was the LA freaks and the SF fags and special interest groups all of which are nothing but a hemmoroid on the ass of the rest of Ca. residents. Problem was anyone with a friggin pulse could have beaten Ahole Davis, but Simon and that is who came up. With Feinstein backing out the democrats are SCREWED!.
I think with Arnold, he will DO what he says and that is CLEAN HOUSE!
That is what NEEDS to be done.
AND it needs to be done NOW!!!!

I still think assasination of Ahole Davis would be eaiser and cheaper;)

Anybody want to know what I really think? :D

Yea Bruce, quit holding back here and cut to the chase with your opinion. Beating around the bush isn't your style and is actually quite unbecoming.

article in wall street journal summarizes my frustration and anger at the left-wing "limosine liberals" and cranks who put Davis into office, in the first place.

A Citizen Uprising
California voters aren't crazy, free-spending pols are.

... how is it that Californians are ridiculed as zany for trying to recall a politician-governor who has wasted not only the public trust conferred by election but $38.2 billion of their money, the state's current deficit?

In light of this $38-billion abyss, Arnold Schwarzenegger, the actor, put the problem well during his Jay Leno appearance. He said that the men and women of California go to work every day and perform their jobs, raise their families and pay taxes to the state. Why is it not possible, he asked, for the politicians in Sacramento to perform as responsibly?

... An analysis done for the Cato Institute by Chris Edwards, Stephen Moore and Phil Kerpen shows tax revenue increasing 86% between 1990 and 2001. Inflation averaged 2.8% annually across this period, but general-fund spending went up 5.7% on average.

In the weeks to come, as you hear a lot about Recall Madness in California, listen or read closely for how often you're also told that state spending went up from $39 billion in 1994 to a truly insane $78 billion in 2001.

Non-Californians don't understand how badly Gray-out Davis and the lefties in the state legislature have screwed things up. The $38 billion deficit is the result of increased spending on feel-good programs, stupidly-high rates for long-term electricity contracts, and payback to special interests.

Gray-out has had a pay-to-play program going for some years now - basically it costs around a million bucks in contributions to get an audience with him. He's crooked, plain and simple.

You-all probably did not notice the incident a couple of weeks ago, when the Assembly Dems left a microphone on in a hearing room, and proposed prolonging the budget impasse so that they could raise taxes! The Governor of California has line-item veto authority: if we can't throw out the lefty legislators (elected, by the way, through extensive illegal alien vote fraud) at least the Governator can hold back some of the most wasteful spending.

RECALL DAVIS! Then indict him....

You are right Mac. You notice just how fast the press and media lost interest in that situation. What they actually said was screw the public until they get so sick of it that we would accept any budget and blame the Republicans for stalling. Funny how the first cut Davis announced was to end a meal program to some house bound seniors with disabilities. That program would of cost the state only $850,000 for the year. At the same time he ok'ed an increase to continue to fund the free catered lunch program for the legislature at an increased cost of $1,500,000. It shows who he favors. Sounds like how the Politburo was in the USSR prior to its collapse. When he finally signed the budget, his first comment was this is a bad budget because if cut that very program he had eliminated already by executive order. This man has no consciences, and cares only for himself. Anyone that says this action is illegal, wrong, or unneeded, is just plain head in the sand blind. WE THE PEOPLE ARE THE GOVERNMENT, we are currently held hostage. This is an action to take out the tyrant and the bureaucrats that have continued to drive this state into the ground. Forget your political ideology and do the right thing if you care for where you live. This is the first action to be taken by those of us that are tired of government oppression. This is a revolt, we hired them, we can fire them, at our choosing. The shear numbers it takes to mount a statewide recall prevents this from being a fiasco. This is a legitimate action. It is our state and it is our government. If you bitch about the taxes, the business climate, or the prices you pay for anything, you have to look to only one place to find where a lot of the money is wasted. We will fire this idiot, we will in the future fire any other idiot, and we will shrink the size of the overbearing ruling class of bureaucrats. Most state jobs are nothing more than political paybacks or a fee work program, which is a guise for welfare. THE REVOLUTION HAS STARTED. Do you have the guts to stand up and make your voice heard? Or is it just a whimper? Patriots have never gained for themselves, but they gave us freedom. Are we going to set cush and hand our kinds more burdens than we have? We will if we don' stop this, and now. "Ya say you want a revolution" Well, hell yes we do. We will win without a shot being fired. This state has been ruled by liberals for far, far too long, and you see where we are. It's time to put people in place that care, and won't continue this drive to the poor house. Forget who your parents voted for, and you long history of being told liberals are forward thinking. Nothing forward about saying let’s have more of the same, high taxes, wreckless spending, and needless handouts for votes. I'm just overwhelmed at the total wishy washy attitude some people have. This sh&% does affect everyone. So let's fix it.

Although Arnie isn't a right-wing Republican like I am (Hell, he's not even a moderate Republican like Bush), I support him 100%. That fairy Davis has just got to go, and Arnold is the logical choice with the most opposition support. Heaven help CA should Davis beat the recall, or if Lt. Gov. Cruz wins.

Thing is I have seen several speeches Arnold has made in public. He is far more conservative than W is. You are right Turbo Ter, we will be in the same shape with good old Cruz as we are with Gay Davis. They are cast from the same cloth (can't say metal because they don't have that kind of strength). Thing is with liberals and moderates, they go with the wind, or money, and do so because nothing is based on core believes, it's all emotion. Any thing to get elected and to get by is their driving force. They blow with the wind, rather than making a stand on important issues. Will be very interesting for sure.

As already stated this will have a national effect and I'm referring to a serious wake-up-call. Too many politicians feel they've "achieved" and are insulated once in office. This will definitely make politicians more vulnerable.

I have yet to see any anti-recall pundits explain why this is a bad idea. Well?....
