What do you guys think its worth

Im looking at a 83 Ttype it has 65000 original miles on it. 4 barrel carb. Full power options. It has rust on both quarters. They will need to be replaced as well as the front fenders. it is also missing the center consol. Black and silver. Runs and drives but needs a brake line. I know it is hard with no pictures but say its a 4 out of 10 overall. Keep in mind I do my own mechinical and body work. I am going to trade for a 98 escort zx2 with 150000 miles on it if you guys think its worth it. escorts prolly worth 1500

NO way would I pay $1500 for it BUT I don't "need" it and you DO want it .. $500 car to me If 1/4s and fenders are gone the doors an deckid can't be far behind as far as rust. I know you said you do bodywork BUT look at the time you will put in it and after your done its goin to be a car that will hard to sell for a lot of $$$ .. your move

I was kinda thinking about parting it if it was too far gone. Im not really firmilliar with the value of the carburated parts?? Do you think it would be worth parting? I know for sure the motor trans turbo and rear end are good. Maybe some interior parts. Im also nervous about rust under the t tops. Either way I dont really care what happens. I have enough problems without another turbo buick

I'm pretty sure you have to pay someone to take hotair carb parts. :biggrin: Rear is the 7.5 so no go there either. Unless you just want to unload the escort and have a beater with a heater Regal, I'd steer clear.

Way to much for what you're getting. You may get what you have in it but it will take some time to sell the parts. Where's the car located? I paid $500 for my 83 and it will be parted out as I do my 82 so I can do what I want.

Its just south of lacrosse wi. You can get it for 750 right now.

i paid 2g's for mine, i'm starting to think that it is taking my family through the ringer and is turning into more of a hobbby, but in my opinion it is still a nice car to drive on the weekends and fun to... gets the ladies attention on the street!!!
