I am thinking about puting a turbo six into a chevett i bought recently. will need new rear end. to hold the extra power

has this been done?

any suggestions?

I think you better get a parachute LOL

Good Luck

it would have to be one pretty insane V6 in any Chevette to equal the insanity of the 6-71 blown small block powered Yugo that used to show up at the Car Craft SUmmer Nats..

My first question that comes to mind is why?

I've always wanted to build a 32 ford highboy roadster or 34 coupe with the GN drive train.

But hey go for it, just rebadge it as Buicks version of the Chevette that they never built. Wasn't it Pontiac that had a version of the Chevette? I can't remember what they called it, and haven't seen one in years.

Wow I am surprised there is even a chevette left. I thought they all rotted out?

It is a NICE sleeper concept.
Sounds very DO-ABLE

I have seen a lot of GN powered swaps, s10's, elcaminos, 54 Chevy (that was 1 sleeper)

It was a one owner car until a couple years ago when the owner passed away. It was always in the garage

really the only thing wrong with the stock engine is the freeze plugs are pushed out. it only has 70K one the original engine.

i love it!!!! i almost build one instead of my turbo vega but i coldnt find one in good enough shape. build it please :)
