What do you think about these products? Boost valve?

Well the transmission shop showed these to me and I said okay..

Any input... it looks like they followed the page I gave them from Bruce's site, but can someone tell me what is the boost valve?

the tv boost valve and spring control the amount of resistance the pr valve must fight before it opens .this in turn regulates line pressure from which all other working pressures are derived . the boost valve diameter controls boost by making higher pressures be generated before the inlet side of the valve by trying to keep it downshifted ,requiring more force to open it .regulation is neccesary however because this sytem can generate 500 plus psi if not controlled properly .a simple rule . 10 psi of oil applied to 10 square inches will exert 100psi in all directions .100 psi of oil pressure applied to 10 square inches will exert 1000 psi in all directions .hence the bigger the boost valve with the same pressure supply as the small ones will exert more force on the pr valvewww.ckperformance.com
