This is not turbo related, the photos are from my Jeep, 4.2L I6. I just found this evidence yesterday and it looks like it has been leaking slowly for some time. After I took the pics, I wiped it with my finger. I swear I can see a crack in the block. I hope to have a Jeep expert here in town look at it.
My question is - aren't the freeze plugs supposed to pop out before the block cracks? The plug is dislodged, you can see this compared to the other one, but wouldn't this indicate the plug was put in to tight?
