For the t-pro you need the base boost number to get a good base number to go from for adjusting the desired boost level, but I'm not exactly sure "base boost" or "base pressure" are.

youve got to be running a 15# or 18#. Stock 15. Heavy duty 18 ..

Unplug the hose to the wastegate controller and stick a golf tee in it. Take her for a ride and watch the boost gauge. That will be your base boost pressure. Which would be "spring" pressure only with no other intervention.

It seems like "spring pressure" is associated with external wastegates. Does this rain true with an internal?

The internal gates also have a spring. Usually 12# for a bone stock original, and could be higher for aftermarket gates depending on who made.

Question for OP. What page are you reading in the maual that talks about "base boost"?

Never mind, I found the page. It's explaining how to get started with the high boost solenoid.

Personally, I've had much better luck running two stock solenoids in parallel.

hello; I never heard this before and I'll have to try it. I don't have my car with me but the hose is at the end of the rod adjustment under the turbo. Is this true?
