what fittings exactly are needed???

NPT fittings have worked fine for me for about 3 years. I chose to go under the starter heat shield then on top the frame. But others have gone through the frame with success. It's not shown in the pics but I now have about a foot and a half of silicone heat sleeve that the lines run through under the header. HTH, Scott

I have a crack where it goes over the crossmember. I cut it and tried to put a long piece of hose over it with two clamps on each side. But it leaks worse now. I guess they need to be flared to seal. So brake line is the right size? Sounds like that could be an answer so I don't have to wait for some lines to get shipped here and then fight to get them in.
I have used the brake line that is bendable. Would that work on the tranny lines?

You just need to get the correct diameter line, take a pc of the original line with you or measure the diameter.

I just bought me a piece of 5/16 inch standard bendable brake line 6 foot long. The flair and fittings look identical. I'll let you know if it works. Has anyone else tried this? For $8 it's hard to beat.
