I am going to be installing a PTE housing on my TE-60 that now has a garrett housing. Has any one done this swap .63 Garrett to .63 PTE and what changed from one to the other. Gains, losses track times and so on.

THX

i was looking at a LOT of old posts on this subject last night and the general idea i got was that the garrett housing will spool much quicker than the PTE. not sure if the PTE os nor efficient though.

clean86....

I have both, the Garrett that came with my PT-60 and a PTE...
I have no track numbers, but it feels to me like the Garrett spools a little quicker than the PTE and the PTE seems to have a little more on the big end.

I'd say it's a toss up, you may like the Garrett for street driving. I went with the PTE because the getty-up was fine with me...

welp...my T63e has a PT&E .63 exhaust housing...the only thing i've gained is a crappy 60'...due to turbo lag..i run a "real" art carr 16930..9"converter ...flame suit on!
