I have the front off my motor (timming cover) due to leak in crank seal. Im

looking to find out what is the best type of crank seal to use. My old rope one went bad. Any upgrades or recomendation where to get a good gasket kit?

there is a normal seal for these cars. any parts store will have them, there might be a difference in the covers though, maby some one will say what it is. stick with the cork oil pan gasket though it wont leak like the rubber ones do.

Most likely if you have the stock timing cover, the seal goes in from the back-

Advanced auto sells felpro and thats what i have seen that works the best.
Napa sells something or other, but it doesnt go in to the cover perfectly like the felpro does.

Since the cover is off, get a roller cam button.. just type roller cam button napa in the search and the part number should come up :D i posted it.

If you have a cover that the seal goes in from the front, as in you could take the balancer off and theres the seal, then its available from silver seal products.
