Most stock cars you will have covered if you run 11's, but once you get into modified cars, atleast around here..you need to be 10's to be top of the food chain..if you go out to car shows looking for big action, then you need to be in the 9's..and be able to hook.

Most of the cars running 7.5s or better are either straight up drag cars or really pricey high end tuner cars like this turbocharged mercedes I see there all the time, or an LS1 vette that obviously has alot of money into it.
