I am trying to replace my door lock actuators and window motors and was wondering if there was a trick to remove them. I have the door panel removed, and it seems like they may be held in by rivets. Does that sound right?

Can I install the new ones with screws/bolts?

I have searched through the "How to" section and all of the TR websites that I can find and can't seem to find a good write up.

Thanks in advance for the help

Yep. drill out the rivets to remove them. If you don't have one of the huge rivet guns, small nuts and bolts are the common method to reattach them. On every motor and actuator I've ever replaced, I got different fasteners. For some reason, the one's that come with the motors feel like they're made of tin foil.
