In addition to my current GN I had another 87 GN. Prior to that, I owned three Monte Carlo SS's....an 84, 86, and 88. I liked all three of them, but the 84 was my favorite. It was white with a blue bench seat interior. Unfortunately I lost my 84 in a fire.....it was a sad day:( I wish our GN's had the gauge cluster the Monte's came with.

grannymobile

Besides the TRs in the sig, I have a 115,000mi light grey/blue 85 Regal Limited N/A. It has a 2bbl carb, does not have overdrive, has the vinyl top, electric bench seats, chrome trim, and the 14" plastic wire rim hubcaps  It was originally bought by my grandparents and I started driving it in 1997 when it only had a 50,000mi, and drove it for 3 years straight until I bought another daily driver. It never broke down on me or left me stranded :) It does ride good also. The only things I did to it was a water pump, shocks, and gutted the clogged cat.

I had an 1981 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme with a 267cu. in.(Chev.) engine which I replaced with a 350 4bbl. stock engine. It gave a little more torque, and was much better when the time came to pass someone!...

Claude. :)

In College, I had a '79 Grand Prix with a 301 4bbl and a factory 4 speed manual (one of 232 built). It was a nice car, but the 301 is a dog.

Now in addition to my '86 GN and '86 T-type, I have an '86 Pontiac 2+2 with a 502 and a 6 speed.

I had an 86 Buick Regal Limited as my first car that I drove through HS and College. NA 3.8 I'd get the occasional person wanting to race thinking it was a turbo car.

87 GN 49k miles
86 GN sold as parts car...
87 Gray Turbo-T sold
86 GN 56k miles

I've never really liked any other G Bodies except for the occasional drag car..

WOW

I feel like a snapper head only owning 3 in my life! :(

I had a Blue/Blue bucket '84 MCSS that I had ordered new. Kept it for a year and a 1/2 until the '86 GN came out.

It was a great car at the time, but going from that to a GN was like night and day.

I would have bought an '84 GN if I could have afforded it at the time.

G bodies

Have had '78 and '79 El Caminos. Will probably buy another some day. Next one would be nice with a LSx type conversion engine in it. There's one at a used car lot right now with a V-6 and Factory 3 speed floor shift in it. Kinda rare and cool (to me). Be nice with a LS6 and 6 speed. Bought a FAST system for the Buick instead. Priorities.

84 Olds Gutless with 231, bench seat, 14" rims with wire spoke hubcaps (they were all the rage I guess.....)

It bored me after a few years so I swapped the bench for buckets, 231 for an Olds Rocket (350), wire wheels for 15" Olds wheels off a 442.

The Rocket engine made it a little quicker but it still had the 2-something ring gear in the back.

I put the Monte dual exhaust kit on it and it sounded nice. Pained the top part dark blue and the bottom black and threw on a Hurst rear deck spoiler :-)

Then...........Michigan rust ate it and it died :-(

78 Cutlass Supreme, V8 i believe this is the first year this body style arrived
80 Grand Prix, V6 231 had a ton of problems with, guess what, oiling system
85 Grand Prix, went back to the V8
