What paint for black out trim pieces

Are the black out trim pieces semi-gloss or are they painted to match the car (gloss black)?

Correct would be a semi-gloss black. I just re-did mine to a gloss black for a different effect. Of course, my car is red. With a black car, you'd like to keep a contrast between body and trim.

SEM trim black is really close to what the stock color of the mouldings are suppose to be.
