Welby, that is one good looking T!

Thanks :D

I can wait to start playing around with it, but I've pretty much put it away for the winter for now. Have all winter to save up for some goodies though, which is good...

What size are the Telstars and tires, I like!

15x8 and 15x3.5 275/50 Nitto DR's.

They're actually my buddies wheels/tires, but I borrowed them for a weekend for a race (RSD). I usually have a set of black GTA wheels on it.

I think they looked pretty good on the car, and am considering on getting a set for myself.

My T had the burgundy option when I got it. I changed my option to red. :D

Hey, Im in that picture with Jims blue limited. I was going to put a new roof on my 87 T but instead I bought an 84 sage green limited. Im swapping the whole body. The 84 is a 41k mile granny car with a green interior, few power options and crank windows. While it wont be origional, it will still be cool. Love that car Jim!

Better late than never.

How about Mary Kay pink....

No I dont have one but if anyone has any information about MK Regals I would be interested in seeing it. Just looking for some stuff for the archives. I've never seen a 86-87 MK Regal so I dont even know if they existed. Almost bought an 85. BTW the paint code was 08. It would also have been interesting if you could get one with the LC2. Remember Playboy pink that was available on 64.5-65 Mustangs? Too bad the gay freaks ruined that color.

I saw this car when it was for sale a while back. With the pics it is hard to tell the exact color, but it does appear pink. It is an 87 T.

Man that is one awesome car! Didn't it make it into the Calendar this year? Why did you sell? What part of the country did it go to?

There was a lime green/lime green carb'd turbo on ebay a few months back, I posted it thinking it was goofy looking and of course 20 people come out and say they loved it :D One guy said he was gonna try to buy it, wonder if he did.

Thanks! Waiting to see if it made the calender, should know soon.
I sold it because I could better off use the money twords my first house and I have an 87 GN also & a 00 Dodge Avenger (daily driver). 3 cars was just too much, I did not have the time to drive them all and on top of it all I lost my storage space for the T-type so it was just sitting out on the street  I had to sell something so I decided to keep my GN and use a little of the money from the T-type to finish the little stuff that needs finishing on the GN . The car went to Delaware from PA. The t-type was a fun project and my first resto on a TR, hard to watch it go just glad it was not my GN.

Wow, that is certainly one of if not the cleanest light chestnut cars I have seen. You done a super nice job on it! Underneath the car looks awesome as well. It is very rare that I see a car and can honestly say that I would have done it the exact same way, but with this one, that stands true. Would not have done anything different!!! Any tips on detailing under the car? Products and so on? BTW, the GN is just as nice! ;)

Hey Grand Nash, What did you do to the T wheels to recondition them? Thats the nicest set of T wheels I've seen. I can see how that car would have been hard to part with!

Thanks for the kind words :)

Detailing inder the car is all about attention to detail. Its also easyier when your replacing everything. The best thing you can do is powerwash under they car frame, floor pans, etc... sand it & prep and then coat it with por 15 or as I used Eastwoods (black mat) Rust encapsuator really gives it a nice look and protects it from rusting, etc...

Beed blasted them.
fosfate acid washed them for paint prep
polished all the wheels lips and runners
taped off all the polished lips and runners with masking tape (P.I.T.A.)
Painted them with a silver/alluminum paint from wallmart $2 a can.
Then clear caoted them with a satin clear also from wallmart $3 a can.

I'll try to remember too look at the cans tonight for the manufactur of the paint and the exact paint codes, etc...

Not hard to do just time consuming.

How do you get the pictures to show up in your post?

I tried using "IMG" button, but that just ends up showing the link.
I then tried the "Attach file" way, and it won't load.
