I have the chance in a lifetime to race two cars next year. I have the Atomic GN for bracket or 10sec index plus TSM if I want. I want another for the ORCA or NMRA, etc.headsup racing? I can build another GN frame off, found the roller already if I want it, stage 2 or Champion 4.1?TA 4.1, V-6 anyway or Bad ass 7.5-8.0 turbo Mustang. I will always have a GN if I was to sell The Atomic GN. I will build another better and faster. Nobody will buy my car for the money I am asking anyway because they will think:confused: I can build one cheaper? GETRDONE then. I have owned a couple Bad Tangs;) but nothing like this car. What is the average cost of a stage2 motor starting from scratch? What size turbo should I try to max out at with a well built motor v-6?? I will run a 350 turbo trans, mini tub, light as possible without fiberglass body, cant find one cheap enough yet?? Fast system, fiberglass doors, bumpers, frt fenders maybe tilt frt end, 8.0 certified cage not sure how many bars that is? Lexan windows all the way around etc. ect. I am going to get some quotes for a gn BUILD BUT What do you guys think will be cheaper and better for now. The Atomic GNII or Big Turbo V-8 BADTANG that is already done that is the best part. I need to add on another 40x50 to my shop this spring also to cage these animals. The 30x40 is out of space:mad: Let me know what you guys think?? Thanks as always:cool:

Tony, I think you should do a twin turbo LS in a GN.

Tony if you are serious my TSO car can be bought and you will be out running mid/low 8's when the weather gets warmer.

IMO you are looking $30K+ to build that motor you are looking...

Fatnat has one for sale for 1/2 price:eek:

Ted's car is probably as close to perfect as you will find!

There are TONS of mustangs running that fast, I personally love the feeling of no matter what knowing we did all we can do with 2 less clyinders!!!! I like to be different;)

To each his own.....

No matter what you decide to build, check the rules first. A 7.5 ride will compete in ORSCA EZ Street but you will have to weigh 3200 with a turbo. No lexan, no glass fenders or doors.

A V6 will not compete outside the Buick world unless you get a huge weight break. Then you have to look at how you can achieve that weight if no lexan and glass body parts are allowed.

There's a couple classes in NMCA in the 7.5-8.0 range. Extreme street and maybe cheap street. Extreme does not allow turbo's.

NMRA has radial and SSO. SSO is a mid 7 class, radial is an 8.0 class but on a BFG so it's very tough to get into the 8.0's with the rules like they are.

These V-6 rules outside Buick Racing suck. They kinda suck in the Buick world because I have a awesome car that was a rusted piece of sht when I bought it. I installed fiberglass doors because the originals were junk and now I cannot race any Buick class except Bracket that sucks too. I will have to think about it and follow Dusty about checking the rules first. I really would like to build another GN. I wanted a V-6. Maybe I will ck into the v-8 swap. I am not going to spend over $50,000 building anything though if I can buy another already done! Thanks for the advice guys. I need to get the garage addition done 1st!!

I am going to buy another GN all metal TSM or TSO car for now. I hope i can be the first Champion Iron Block tester for 2009?? We will see :) Jason I lost your number. Pm me your number again. I will see you soon. Get that car and parts together:) Thanks.
