I'm going to the track next week and just wanted to see what you guys think i'll run.? ran the car last year stock and went 13.51@101 with a 2.15 60ft.on 15 lbs of boost on street tires. Then this year i added the w340 hotwired, adjustable reg, reds 93,hooker exhaust, mpe downpipe, adustable wastgate, gagues and scanmaster.I went 13.51@104 with a 2.15 60ft.boost at 17lbs.Last week i added a ta49,mpe 15 row intercooler with a 3"neck and 40lb.injectors with a reds 93chip and i'll be running on hoosier slicks 26-10-15.

17 pounds boost again?
13.0-13.15 leave with as much as you can in boost. :)

Race gas and higher boost probably mid 12's first time tuning it.

on 17 psi, i can see a 12.6-8 if you can pull a 1.75 60 ft or better. And with race gas and high boost, low 12s to high 11s shouldn't be out of reach after some tuning and good track conditions

High 12's at least on 17-18 psi. Tinker with the wastegate a bit, race gas and slicks should get I would guess 12.2-12.4

imo reds 93 is not the chip you want if you want a better time unless you role up the boost and use race gas. i have used it and have used others that are 2/10ths faster. it is a conservative chip(14-15 pounds of boost on my car) and will not really make much more power than a stock chip, without raising boost levels. I have seen some cars do well with it but they were in the 20 pound boost range. just my opionion

Crank it up-

I wouldn't even make the first pass at anything under 21psi. Personally I like to get my car in "half-ass" good tune on desolate roads before going to the track.

But if I had to wager a guess, with a 1.6x 60ft., and about 22psi, I'd say about 12.25. Racegas is a given though.

Good luck,
Ryan

I had my car out alittle bit today tuning and playing.I was running 17-18lbs with 0-1.0 of knock on 94 octain.I should be ok turning it up to 20-21lbs on racegas with alittle more tuning.Car feels pretty good right now.

hay b-n-b keep us up-to date on what you ran i have just about the same set-up i'm working on getting a te-44 or a ta-49 right now, thanks carlos:)

I went to the buick event in cecil county maryland today.I got there late so i only got one run at the end of the day when all the other racing was done.I ran a 12.76@107mph 1.92 60ft. that was pretty much street trim with 18lbs of boost with some 104 gas and leaveing at about a 2lbs.Wish i could have upped the boost and made a few more runs.

thats a nice run, 12.7 on the first run:) ,, i think you would have done low to mid 12's with some tuneing.

I'm going to try to get back to the track in the next week or two so i can do some tuning and turn the boost up some and try leaving with more of boost.

Went to the track Sunday the 1st run 22lbs. and a 5lb.luanch i ran 12.05@112mph 1.75 60ft.2nd run 23lbs. and a 5lb.launch 11.97@112 1.71 60ft.I need to do some work on my brakes so i can hold more then 5lbs.of boost. One run I tried to luanch at 7lbs. but pushed past the light. With some good brakes and more boost on the line mid 11's here I come.
ps Kieth Mease thanks for all your help :D
