I'm in the process changing the TH350 in my Corvette to a 200-4R that came from a Monte Carlo (although it was in a GN before I got it, go figure) and I'm having a little trouble getting the torque convertor to bolt up. The stock Corvette TH350 uses a nut and bolt configuration to attach to my flexplate whereas the stock torque convertor from the Monte is threaded so only a bolt has to go in. I'm having a little trouble figuring out the correct length of the bolt to go into it to ensure enough strength. I'm also afraid that it's metric and I'm using a standard bolt. I don't know what the setup is for this. Stock, the entire drivetrain on the Corvette is standard, but everything else is metric. It's a little confusing. So, what's the size of the bolt for this thing?
