What Tee fitting to add transducer to fuel rail with fuel pressure gauge?

What is everyone doing when they add a transducer?

I have this on the rail:

What tee fitting adapter do I need to add caspers 100psi transducer to the rail which is 1/8 npt male and keep this gauge?

Would this do it?

Also, lets say I don't care about the schrader valve and I'm willing to remove it..

Is there a cleaner/better option all together I should consider? Such as eliminate the gauge and rely on the transducer...

I tried about 3 different solutions in order to get my electric fp gauge connected. All worked, but i can be a little particular. The first was a pile of fittings and adaptors from your local parts shop. It looked like a pile of parts on the end of the rail (pretty crappy).

The second was what i thought was going to be a pretty slick solution from summit. It was -4an female to -4an male with a 1/8" npt female cut into the side under nitrous fittings. The 1/8" npt port is fixed, so its a crap-shoot as to whether it will be oriented proberly upon install. Seemed like it would work great until i started looking for the tap to cut the threads in the male side for the schrader. What i found was that these things aren't just any old thread!! It's a funky diameter with either 32 or 36 tpi. The only company i could find on the web that sold the taps was "tapco" and if i remember right they wanted about $60 for the tap. So i decided to just stick a -4an plug on the end of it and forget about the schrader! Had a hard time finding the plug locally, but i went to a speedshop about an hour away. When i got there, i pulled the schrader out, screwed the summit fitting on and the female threads basically melted. It was a real POS. So i went in the speedshop and they fixed me up with an aluminum adaptor that was -4an female x -4an male with a 1/8" npt female port to screw my transducer into. Neat thing is that you can position yhe port in whatever orientation you want and then tighten it down. I plugged the male end with a cap. I like it except that the fittings are that blue and red color. I think these are aeroquip fittings. The shop told me they come in black, they just didn't have them in stock. Here's some pics. Lemme know if you want more. I also would like to stick a hose in the port and remote mount the transducer.

Yeah, I think I am going to go with Caspers adapter and ditch this old mechanical fuel pressure gauge all together.

Back from the dead.
Anyone know if threading the lower section of the FPR will provide accurate reading?

I realize fluids are not compressible so in theory it should work. Lol
 
I just used a nitrous pressure port fitting i think it was. Went right on to the fuel rail and I bought a 90° fitting for my fuel pressure gauge. Now I can log fuel pressure and have my mechanical gauge under the hood.
