I know most people would think this is a photoshop but I took it a while back and never opened the pic other than looking at it as a thumbnail. I figure it is a wasp or moth or somekind of bug what do you think it is? Looks crazy anyway

Cold 85,
Just wondering, where did you get that external mount guage set up for the hood? I assume it's Fuel Presuure?

That is a flying frog with a backpack, they are very rare.... you are very lucky to get on film....

Looks like an old Kenny Bell Fuel Pressure Gauge.

what ever the hell it is, i'd start wearing all types of holy emblems  , i with darkred87t, mini satanic bug? , it looks like it was looking at you, it's definetly freakish. now go and bless the buick

wow im from california and i think i can tell....

its a flying locus, or one of those flying grasshoppers. Such as one of these. http://bugguide.net/node/view/73 I dont think thats a hornet, but it could be. The only CLUE as to it being a hornet is the relative size of him. If it were a locus or flying grasshopper it would appear bigger.

cheers parton straight up on the rocks tonight baby!

Its just a special welcoming to you from the dark side,he is just hogging the picture...looks like he is doing the mc hammer dance on your hood..cant touch this?

I have to go with the flying frog. I can't see the backpack though. Do you have any other species of flying things down there in N.C. that normally just crawl or hop along the ground in other parts of the world?

We get them around here in the summer alot, especially when it's very hot. They mostly come out at night though, don't see them too often in the day.

Jersey Devil
