what one is better? also how hard is it to install a thermostat?

yea its for a intercooled car..so i guess i need this? http://store.summitracing.com/partd...&part=HYP-1003&autoview=sku&Ntk=KeywordSearch whats the difference between 1003 and 1000 besides that 1003 is twice the price?

The diameter of the 1000 is too big to fit into the intake manifold. The reason it's probaly double the price is that there is very little demand for that T-stat. The 1000 is a standard SBC t-stat

i would take it but it'd be cheaper for me to just buy from summit since i have a free 20 dollars there...sorry
