God! I'm so tired of getting up at 5:00 - 5:15 AM. I've been doing this for the past 11 1/2 years in the Marines.

Get up, shower, shave, 2 clean cut hair cuts weekly, put on uniform, commute to work......work 10-12 hours - commute home, play with the boys, eat, sleep, repeat routine.

I'm not complaining, just trying to see what everyones daily routine is:)

8 1/2 more years and I'll be retired:cool:

i get up at 0545 or 0600 every day. sometimes on sundays i sleep in (turn off my alarm) but i do wake up every day at the same time to keep my body on the same clock.

on the weekend like i said i get up at the same time, wether or not i get out of bed is an other story

I used to get up at 4:30 am to be at work by 5:30 am. Even though I did it for years, I never got used to waking up that early....I could never get myself to go to bed at a decent hour. Now I start work at 2:30 pm and I wake up whenever my son comes in and gets me. Life is much better when you don't have to get up to an alarm.

Up at 6:30 treadmill for 1/2 hour,
Shower & eat 7 am to 7:30,
leave for work 7:40 get to work at 8pm
Sit for 8 frigging hours with 1 hour lunch 1 to 2 pm ( Love lunch)
Race home backroads at 5pm to avoid tolls. Pass people like a manic. home at 5:30.
A rat on a treadmill :(

HA! HA! Nothing like time management:)

I don't have to be in work till 2pm so I'll wake up almost anytime I feel like crawling out of bed :) Some mornings I'm up at 8am some noon time :)
I work 4 ten hour days and I'm done. My schedule is the same all the time. I love my job and schedule. Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, 2pm till midnight and I'm off Thurs, Fri, and Sat. Gotta love it. In the summer I'm usually at a car show Thurs, Fri, and Sat, and sometimes Sunday morning before I go into work!
One of the best parts.. I never have rush hour traffic to deal with other then a roving PennDot crew! 70 mPh all the way to and from work everyday. Takes me about 13 mins to get to work as well. :D

Wake up at 4am for a 5am Muster with The Nav, work until about 3pm. Go home, shower. Leave for second job at 4:15pm get home from work at about 11pm, go to bed and do it all again tomorrow.

Wake up 5am, work 6-6, 30min lunch which i hardly ever take, usually eat at my desk, 4 days on 4 days off, not that bad of a schedule. :)

Wake up 6-7 depending on which location i would be at, leave for work if i drive 20 min. train or bus 55- 1 hour 30 min traveling which sucks. one hour lunch depending on what problem occur and at what time. leave at 4- 4:30pm once again depending on what happens. mon - fri. hour lunch which i take at my desk after i bring back my food. if i am in class my hours would be from 8am -9:30pm 3 - 4 days a week. I hate getting up early, I cannot wait till i retire.

PS: I am only 21, many years ahead of me. :(

I wake up at 7:30 am to be at "Job A" for 8:30 (1/2 hr commute).
Take a 1 hour lunch break and work until 4:30. I can't wait until "Summer Hours" start. Then it's 8-4:30 for 5 days with every other Friday off.

For 3 nights a week I go to "Job B" and work from 6:00 pm til 10:00 pm. The little extra that I work p/t affords the wife to stay home with my 2 kids.

Wake up about 7:45, watch the morning news and have a sig. Shower & then drive 4.25 miles. Get in at 9:05 am and leave at 6pm. Due to the long commute its really hard to get to work at 9am. ;)

Wake up at 11am, drink coffee for an hour, take the kid to school, get ready for work @ 1:30pm, leave at 2:15pm, at work by 2:25pm, off at 11pm (or 1am if working OT) home by either 11:09pm or 1:09am as long as I don't have to stop for beer (or milk or whatever else the wife tells me to get). And to think, I make an extra $1.50/hr for working this shift.

Edit: Almost forgot, the drive home is 2 miles longer than the drive to work due to 2 of the base gates being closed after 6pm.

OHH you poor babies-----------

Try this---------

Leave for work at 9pm get to work at 10pm work till 6am----then drive to my day job get there at 6:20am ,sleep in Work truck till 7:25 am work till about 4pm drive home and get there at 5pm..eat dinner and sleep from 6-9pm----Gone from home for 20hrs a Day..

Whaaa keep crying...   ;)

I get up for job 1 at 3:30am to be at work at 4am get off at 1pm, workout then go to job 2 at 4pm work till 11:30pm go home due homework (go to school on tuesday/thurdays) go to bed around 1am everyday. I only sleep for 30 mins. on my break at first job and when i get home at night which is usually for about 2 to 3 hours, been doing this sh*t for a year now.

BRING IT ON

I once had to be up by 6, walk 4 miles to work- get off at 3:30, walk 2 miles to other job, start at 4, get out at 12:30, walk 2 miles home.....get up next day -do it again. 6 days a week.

Now, up at 8, work 9 to 5 (spending most of the time screwing off talking to you TR maniacs)....and looking to hire someone to fill in for me 3 or 4 days a week.

Im getting up at 0400 these days to be at work at 0430-0445 but I cant complain I get off around noonish. No breaks though. Rockin schedule. But as with all things good in the military im sure it wont last long.

Getting up early doesnt suck so bad, its having your schedule changed all the time like I used to have when I was working in the old shop and then putting in 12-14 hour days every single day. Then they saw it fit to call you in during the day (which is your normal sleeping hours) like its cool

USMC aswell but im only at my 4 year mark ;) I work on the same flight line as Ray.

When I get out back into the world an 8 hour day is going to be such a joke.
