Razor isn't your enemy, nor did he call you any names. He's a stand up guy and only said what many others would have had he not said it first.
Face it, you shipped an expensive item using someone else's (specifcally a USPS botton pushing monkey's) judgement as your guide.
It's an expensive lesson and all of us have learned one or two.
You can justify it in any way you choose, but this is on you just not thinking it through.

No carrier would pay for that insurance or not. It was improperly packed. As already stated a small box or even a small flat rate insured would be less than $6.50 to ship. USPS is more efficient than other carriers when using priority mail. Its getting beat to hell no matter who you choose to ship

im trying to work it out he ignored me and made a feedback with my name on it leaving negative comments im hoping that gets deleted. This guy doesnt want to make anything right, look at the bs he's posting he doesnt care he shipped a scanmaster in a POS envelope. Im pissed im out my $$$ i sent out $203 for a broken mail envelope? paypal better do something. If i dont get my $$ back were going to have problems, he needs to understand its his fault for shipping in a paper envelope. as a seller he needs to take responsibilty you expect me to swallow the scanmaster because he doesnt know how to ship it... then he post neg feedback on me? wtf? i dont understand..

when all was said an done YOU agreed to the price.. It was a DONE deal. I wouldn't drag the woulda, coulda, shoulda triplets into this. You did save prob $4.00 by not insuring it. One of lifes lessons here.

Even if you had insurance.. you give him back his money and wait on the insurance to pay you back. Its not the buyers fault. Buyers only obligation is to pay the money. Your responsible for everything else.

You type it, and you live it. I remember you shipping me a wiring harness (forget what it was). From Tampa to Ft. Myers FL, 3 day priority envelope. I call you 2 weeks later to say it didn't come.. .and you just throw another one in the mail to me, problem solved.
Ironically, the first one came the exact same time the second one did... guess it got stuck in the chute.. LOL.
That's how business is done, when shipping products. I've lived by this. I've parted out cars, sent stuff that when received wasn't as stated (out of my own in ability to clarify) or it was damaged (72 GS Black Non AC Dash Pad.. F.U. USPS!!). NEVER hesitated to refund the money.... as the buyer didn't get what I sold them.
And I'm not even in business.... I was just parting out a car I wrecked.
Yea I'm 20 years old worth about ~ 5k what are you some old ass dude? How do I know this guy ain't trying to scam me? Il let PayPal judge that. I packaged it by the rules how is it my fault sounds like post office fault. Let this be a lesson to buyers if you short the seller the seller gonna short on the shipping
