Im going to be adding the little alky upgrade to my car:eek: But basically im wondering if anyone has the roundabouts what to expect with gains..Here it is below.


PTE-54 Turbo
Extender Chip 23/21 timing
91 octane at best in Vegas
Pretty much all bolt-ons for my car.
60-65# injectors.
Translator Box set to 8% or number 4 rich on the box.

Right now im running nothing but 100 octane, and i like the fact that i can run 23-24# of boost with no problems and no knock. I was thinking ide like to run a little more (25#or so on the street at all times:D ) can the alky kit allow me to run this kind of boost with 91 octane?? Lemme know what watcha think.

If you can run 24 on 100 without knock.. with meth injection you can take that number an easy 3-4 PSI additional.

Chip and tuning is critical... tune tune tune..

The denser air and cooling will make an easy 20-25 to the wheels at 24 PSI.

Right on Razor...91 is the best octane out here in Vegas..but if 26#s is a cake walk, then im all over that thing:D

Its not too bad, just have to take it very slow. Razor has a few good writeups posted as "Stickys" here that step you thru it. If just bolting it on, not chnaging chips will cause your O2s to be way high, like in the 900's. Start by reducing your WOT fuel by about 10-15% and then add alky to rid any knock. If O2s still high, reduce more fuel, and add more alky until that sweet spot is found.
My problem is I keep trying different things and different chips besides my own try to figure out which is best.....drive you to drinking ;)

Cool...my Extender chip is pretty sweet. I have it set to about 8% rich on the box now at WOT 23-24# of boost 100 octane with 02s at around 770 or so all said and done. I want to run about 25#s of solid boost on the street and be able to save myself some friggin money on this 100 octane at 4.29 a gallon:eek: Whats really cool though is i am spanking a 500HP to the wheel highly modded cobra out of the hole everytime at 23-24# boost by about two cars or so:D but i seem to have a problem from a roll with this guy, and i dont know why..hmmm
