You would have to pull the cover off and get correct measurements , im unaware of any 65mm compressor wheel , could be 63 or 66 which are pretty big without supporting mods, and i see no TH style down pipe and just a stock neck intercooler so im guessing no other mods to spool a big turbo ?

It has 255 fuel pump, tt 93 chip, maf box and 36 injectors. Going to switch to e85, 450 pump and change chip per eric

Get at least 120# injectors with e85 and a PTFE fuel line kit, and look into what torque converter you have, that plays a big part in spooling a bigger turbo

I can't help you on the turbo size, but if the car still has the stock transmission as stated in your post, I would be planning on upgrading that very soon.

If your planning on going E85 I can only assume you plan to run higher boost, which the trans will not like much.

A proper trans rebuild and matching converter, down pipe/exhaust and at least an upgraded neck on the stock intercooler, or aftermarket intercooler will wake that car up.

It also still has the cat on it, should I take it off and add a test pipe? Thanks for the help!

If your looking for the best performance the Cat is a big restriction as well is that elbow on the dp so a test pipe and a free sweeping 3" dp would be ideal, as for the converter the higher stall still doesn't mean its the right unit for a turbo car, it could be slipping like mad and not coupling its very tricky. so still verify what unit it is then take it from there , the right converter is a real big deal in these cars

Good to know thank you!!! I’ll have to see how the transmission holds up (lol) and decide if I go 4L80 and new converter

All depends what you want to do with the car, i have 700hp through a 2004r and some have much more so a 4l80 is not really needed

Would he be ok with the 95 lb high impedance injectors from Erik so he can run the stock ECM? I guess that’s assuming he has the stock ECM.

I talked with eric about this and the e85 chip he recommended both so i ordered them last night. Ill update after install of these and the 450 fuel pump and related hose kit. Im excited, it runs good now, im doing this for more power and so i dont have to run race gas to not worry about detonation.

Probably so that's why i always ask what do you want to do with the car lol
Really i want a very powerful and fun car to drive. I realize i may break the transmission but ill have it built if so and add the appropriate convertor. Im really excited to get it going

How do you get a chip if you don't know the turbo?
Some time you have to rollup your sleeves and do some real detective work.
It won't be fun or powerful if you don't follow some simple steeps to get these cars to run.
Its not a fox body you through money at and get good results, Many have tried and felled.

I followed Eric’s instructions on measuring the turbo and sent him pictures. Do you think HE knows what he’s doing and talking about?

Eric knows what he doing and is a great guy to deal with.
If you want post your whole combination
I will take a look a look and let you know what to do and what not to do.
This is mostly what I know since I just bought it. It has 3” single cat back to duals. Still has cat but idk if it’s gutted because there’s a receipt for the cat a couple years ago. He ran it on 93 it has great power, from a 10 mph roll it blows the tires away through 2nd gear the stall seems to be a 3k. Everything seems to work well, I’m changing to e85 because I only have 91 locally and everything I’m reading it makes sense to change from a power standpoint and less worrying about detonation. It may need a spring cleaning I’m not sure if anything has been done in that regard. Thank you for your help!
