what would cause the vavle train to break

First picture is oil out of filter.
Second picture is of the oil that came out of the car.

This picture is of the oil pan. Notice what looks like milky substance, I think this is ground up aluminum from the rocker arm rubbing the valve cover.

Next pictures are of the valve train.

The next pictures are of the rotating assembly. I didn't see any bent rods. Now should I remove the caps so I can inspect the bearing or since I didn't find any bearing material or broken rotating assembly should I just replace the rocker arm and rockers and call it a day.

My vote from the beginning was button it up and hit the road. Maybe someone a little more experienced will chime in though.
