you didn't have the correct V/B and or govenor????
Had a trans rebuilt, the case was broken or so they said...so
they put together a universal case 200-4r now if they used the V/B and or gov. from the universal trans how crazy would the trans shift??? The trans was built with a shift kit and extras, but i think it needs something... like the right V/B and gov. But before i throw out these i need to know if i can get if fixed without to much money spent...
right now the trans shifts 1-2 at 25mph 2-3 and 40mph and won't shift into 3-4 until after 70mph or if i let off the gas about 55 adjusting the TV makes it shift later and harder so far its at the best i can get but its still not right ..
anyone help??? thanks in advance
 
wrong body with the right governor will cause the transmission to go up against the rev limiter at wot when it is set to give you the proper part throttle shift mph.itll shift late also and get passing gear too easy.wrong governor with right body will cause early wot shifts and early part throttle shifts .wil be difficult to get passing gear above 28 to 30 mphour.
