Brett is around. I ran into him at the Nats. My brother and the guy that works on my brothers car run into him at the Muncie dragstrip quite often.

His still has his car I think. Just doesn't run it often. He gave me a tow with his golf cart at Indy when I blew a tranny line.

I'm planning to test tonight or tomorrow depending on the weather. I've got a cross-threaded spark plug hole to fix before I do anything.

That was easy compared to what's ahead of me now. Fired it up last night and after 5-6 minutes of break in I lost oil pressure :(

Distributor is out, feels like a roll pin in the pump or driveshaft might have broken. I'm going to check and make sure the gauge isn't bad by priming the motor again with a drill, if no pressure then the motor is coming back out this afternoon.....

Thats sucks. Wasnt it just in the machine shop? Was your motor a crate block or did you find one in a junkyard?

His motor has a dart block.

It's fixed now, I hope. I had to re-adjust the distributor height for the new cam. Apparantly there was barely any contact between oil pump drive shaft and the distributor. I reset the height and pressure is back. We'll see if it lasts.
