I recommend any of the vendors that support this board. Give them all a call and let them know what you're looking to do. Then make your decision. Whatever you do, DO NOT take it to a local Aamco, or tranny guy that is not very familiar with these cars. 400+ Ft lbs of torque before 3000 RPM WILL smoke any tranny that is not built with that in mind. Good Luck!

Give Len Freeman at Performance Transmission - Las Vegas a call.

Ask Geoff87 how he likes his tranny, he got his from Len.

i know you may not worry about it now but why not have your original one built not exchanged that way you will always have the original tranny if you ever decide to sale it or if these cars are ever worth anything the number matching stuff will be a big help later..i exchanged mine on my 69 roadrunner when they wernt worth much & thought what could it possible hurt..now im kicking myself for not keeping the original..send to bruce or lonnie..or chris..they all have been spoke of highly on here

I second the "DO NOT take it to AAMCO" statement. I'm still trying to get my tranny right and they've been fiddling with it since late September!
